The Dharanis are the least explored branch of Buddhist Sanskrit
literature although most of the monks and layman of the northern
Buddhist schools used them in their daily life. The Dharanis
have paramount importance not only for Nepal Buddhists but also
for all believers of Mahayana Buddhism around the world.
